On September 18th, SCAN New York hosted a visit by key officials from the Israeli Ministry of Social Affairs, including Mr. Yossi Silman, Director General, and Mr. Yekutiel Sabah, Director of Research and Planning.

Mr. Silman and Mr. Sabah, as well as additional representatives from the Ministry, and the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute, visited SCAN’s administrative office to learn about the agency’s unique array of community-based services used to positively impact the “high risk” East Harlem community.
