SCAN-Harbor Youth Learn to Play Hockey with New York Rangers

by | Jan 17, 2024

SCAN-Harbor’s partnership with the Garden of Dreams Foundation continues to grow, as 50 youth from SCAN-Harbor programs were recently gifted enrollment into the New York Rangers’ Learn to Play Hockey Program.

New York Rangers Legend Adam Graves with SCAN-Harbor youth getting fitted for their hockey equipment as part of the New York Rangers’ Learn to Play Hockey Program.

All children in the program were given a free set of equipment, and free enrollment into a full session of Learn to Play Hockey.
Addtionally, there have been some added perks!

Last month, kids in the program attended a New York Rangers game, and some even skated with the Rangers during warm-ups!

We are very grateful to see this partnership with the New York Rangers continue, as even just last year, a SCAN-Harbor youth participant got to skate with Chris Krieder pregame!

The Garden of Dreams Foundation and SCAN-Harbor have a long-standing partnership, and we are so incredibly honored to be working with them to enrich the lives of the children and families we serve.
