Last Night, at the Astor House, New York Junior League’s (NYJL) headquarters, volunteers gathered with SCAN-Harbor staff to celebrate the partnership between the two organizations.
The evening opened with a few words from the NYJL President, Serra Eken, then some comments from SCAN-Harbor Executive Director Lew Zuchman, followed by a program featuring SCAN-Harbor staff who host NYJL volunteers at their respective sites. Program participants were also present, and they gave their perspective on how the NYJL volunteers have an impact on their confidence, joy, and their lives overall.
This year, 133 NYJL volunteers are posted across SCAN-Harbor program sites, and we are thrilled that this partnership continues on, stronger than ever!
