Trevell Coleman (G Dep) Working with SCAN-Harbor

by | Jul 18, 2024

SCAN-Harbor is excited to announce Trevell Coleman, also known by his performer name, G. Dep, has joined SCAN-Harbor programs on music production. Coleman is a well-known rapper/performer, who signed with Bad Boy records in 1998. He will rely on his experience to help supplement the recording studios already installed at several SCAN-Harbor sites, with some industry acumen and artist guidance for budding performers.

Coleman was recently granted clemency after serving a sentence for a crime he committed in 1993. Coleman could have continued his life uncharged for the crime, but, at the height of his professional success back in 2010, he turned himself in, as he was driven by the desire to do the honest thing.

Coleman is excited to give back to his community, while helping others tell their stories through music.
